Bristol Inclusive Climbing
Bristol Inclusive Climbing is a charity that provides young people with disabilities the chance to participate in regular 1:1 rock climbing sessions to increase well-being, confidence, and self-esteem.
Working with passionate volunteers, we remove barriers between young people and climbing.
We run sessions every week in the same location, providing a consistent and predictable experience.
Learn more about about how we’re structured below…
Our sessions
Our team of friendly volunteers are well equipped to support younger people with disabilities and impairments. We’re able to ensure 1:1 support in our sessions as default and can up the volunteers depending on the needs of the young person. This means we can be super flexible with the people we work with.
No matter what the situation, get in touch and we’re confident we’ll be able to help one way or another.
Our Volunteers
We wouldn’t be able to make our roped climbing sessions work without the help from our volunteers.
We have a group of like-minded, experienced, enthusiastic people from Bristol and the surrounding areas. They’re all passionate about sharing the benefits of climbing and enriching our community.
All of them have been trained to ensure we all stay safe on the wall and have fun along the way.
We’re always training up new volunteers to help us grow.
Check out our volunteering page for information about the people doing the real hard work and to join the team if you’re interested.
