Below is a list of ways to access climbing in Bristol, please note that not all of these are specifically for SEND participants, but we do think most climbing centres are relatively inclusive spaces, we recommend reaching out to the organisers to discuss specific requirements.

SEND Inclusive Climbing

Bloc’s Inclusive SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) Clip ‘N’ Climb session provides a supportive and positive environment for disabled and/or neurodivergent children and young people to try climbing.

TCA Quiet hours

📍The Climbing Academy BS5 0FD & BS2 9YQ

TCA run Quiet Climbing Sessions every Tuesday and Friday from 11 am to 1 pm. These sessions are all about creating a peaceful climbing space, perfect for anyone who finds sensory input overwhelming or simply prefers a bit of quiet.

UK Paraclimbing Collective

📍Across Bristol/Bath

Monthly socials set up by a group of paraclimbers who feel passionate about improving access to rock climbing, Suitable for adults/young adults with mental or physical health conditions.

Kids Group Sessions

Weekly sessions focusing on having fun while learning the key skills of climbing (agility, balance and coordination). Kids Club Membership also includes unlimited climbing outside of sessions to put skills into practice.
